We want to recognize Jason Schmidt. If you don't know Jason, he is one of our amazing custodial staff during the day. Most of us know Jason because he has figured out and fixed something in our rooms that others said can't be done.
With a simple suggestion Jason has converted our ticket booth into a functioning coffee shop for our students and clubs to raise money.
One student was quoted as saying yesterday "I can't believe we can have a space this cool at JM".
Thank you Jason for going above and beyond!!

This week is National School Counseling Week. Our counselors work with all students to remove barriers to learning by helping students apply academic achievement strategies, manage emotions, build interpersonal skills, support mental health needs, and plan for post-secondary options. No counselor’s job is the same because they adapt so well to what is needed from our students and schools as a whole. Thank you, counselors, for all you do in Rochester Public Schools!
