Hawthorne Education Center offers free classes for students to prepare and pass the 4 GED subject exams which include Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. These classes are offered at a variety of times, and some can be taken online. If you are interested in joining our GED program, you must call to register for an orientation. At orientation, we discuss the GED process, and all that Hawthorne Education Center has to offer. After orientation, our GED Coordinator will work with you to create an educational plan towards your GED completion and future goals.

Note: Must be 17 years of age and not enrolled in a K-12 program. 

Hawthorne Education Center provides a Minnesota State Adult Diploma Program which is a standard based diploma. Competency areas include: Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Digital Literacy, and Career Developments and Employability Skills. If you are interested in the MN Adult Diploma, please gather all transcripts and any GED tests passed. Our team will review your information and determine if you qualify for the MN Adult Diploma.
