Distance Learning


Distance Learning at Hawthorne gives students the opportunity to mix classroom study with working from home, especially when schedules are busy and time is tight! Distance Learning allows students to work at their own pace on individualized programs.  
To participate in Distance Learning, learners should have access to a computer, a reliable internet connection and the necessary software to make Distance Learning a successful option.  
Our Distance Learning lab (Room 312A) is available should learners NOT have access to learning from home.  The Lab opening hours are shown below.

To sign up for our Distance Learning offerings, students MUST make an appointment!

If you are a new student to Hawthorne, you should allow at least ONE hour for your scheduled appointment.

If you are already a student a Hawthorne, an appointment should take approximately 15 minutes.

Distance Learning hours are:  Tuesdays 11:30 am - 1 pm 

New students must make an appointment.
