Beginning and Intermediate English
Seven levels of English language training are offered mornings, afternoons and evenings and provide instruction in speaking, listening, grammar, reading and writing. The Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS) is used as a guide to teach and test basic survival skills and employment-related language and concepts. Day courses meet two hours per day from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (NOTE: Not all classes are offered at each time slot).  Students may change class times as needed to accommodate changes in their employment schedule. All new students need to call (507) 328-4440 to make a placement test appointment.
