Community Education

Skills Tutor is a website that allows students to work on lessons that will improve their skills in a variety of subjects such as Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Work areas.

SkillsTutor is an interactive, computer-based learning environment offered free of charge to all of our students

To sign up for SkillsTutor, you need to be enrolled in class at Hawthorne and take an assessment to see what level of learning you will be undertaking.

If you have been a SkillsTutor user but have not been actively using the program and your username/password no longer work, you will need to make an appointment to have you login details renewed.

In both instances, please make an appointment with Monica Benavidez by calling 507 328 4425 or, if attending Hawthorne Education Center, call into Room 312.

Here is a short tutorial about MySkillsTutor, created by Jason Schmidt, our Distance Learning coordinator: Using SkillsTutor
